Register a rider

Registration opens each year in April.
Complete ALL steps in the process below to register and ride with us!

Step 1

Register for Driftless MTB

Click below to start the process for registering a student athlete for the upcoming season! If your family has more than one rider, be sure to register each one.

New in 2024 - Blackhawk membership is required and can be completed as part of your Driftless Registration if purchasing for riders only! Family memberships still need to be purchased directly through Blackhawk

New in 2024 - Donations to CORP can be made during the Driftless Registration process.

COST: $60 Team Fee*

*Covers fees and expenses specific to your child’s local team, includes team-specific practice shirt.

Step 2

Register through Pitzone

After we receive your rider registration from our site, our team directors will send an email invite to register through NICA’s “Pitzone” system.

COST: $125-450*
Covers league and national fees and expenses including liability insurance, etc.
*Festival weekend registration is additional. Consider a Festival Pass (all festivals)!

Scholarships are available through the league.

NOTE: You will not receive a Pitzone invite until you register your rider for our team. This is a manual process for Team Directors to send invitations to our riders and we will try our best to do so in a timely matter. If it has been more than a week since you registered on our site and you haven’t received a Pitzone invitation, then please send an email to info@driftlessmtb.org.

(Check your spam folder if you do not see an invite!)

Step 3

Register for Blackhawk

If you want a family membership to Blackhawk or want an alternate membership type and didn’t purchase a Blackhawk registration in Step 1, you will need to register for a Blackhawk Membership.

COST: $90 for Family Membership plus applicable fees. See Blackhawk’s site for other membership types and their associated costs.

Step 4

JOIN OUR TEAMS IN SportsYou

New in 2024, we are switching from Teamsnap to SportsYou.

SportsYou will be used to organize our team(s) around practices, races, and other events as well as condense all team communication in one place.
