  • Our team begins practices in early July and (optional) racing events usually start around Labor Day. Practices and Event Weekends will conclude around the end of October.

Driftless usually participates in about 5 racing event weekends and 1 or 2 adventure weekends per season. The latter depends on rider interest and coaching availability.

For our beginner riders, we start off practicing fundamentals on grass before we progress to riding on the trails. Safety is our first priority.

  • Practices usually run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

During the summer the hours are typically 6:00-8:00.

These hours move to 5:30-7:30 usually around the time school starts as the days are getting shorter and we try to maximize the amount of sunlight we have.

  • Race Weekends are a ton of fun, but are completely optional for those riders that are not interested in racing.

See the Racing Page for more details.

  • We use sportsYou to manage our team calendars and to communicate between parents, coaches and riders.

See the sportsYou User Guide for information on how to get set up.
